Background:
Caltex was seeking an innovative idea for its online bonus point reward program. The aim of the program is to create awareness of the reward system in order to increase customers’ repeat purchase. A custom-designed software is also needed to effectively demonstrate the features of the program.
Solution:
Design Quest came up with the idea of Dutch Auction for bonus points usage. A bidding platform which is similar to eBay but with features specifically designed for Dutch Auction (e.g. A virtual countdown timer for each item) is embedded into the program’s website.
A unique idea for the reward system is created and technically actualized online. An increasing visit rate of the website has been observed since its launch.
