HKTPA was looking for an online marketing solution to promote the event Hong Kong Tennis Classic 2010. In addition to attracting audience with the starred players, it also emphasized the highlight of Hong Kong as the host of this worldly event. How can the web space be utilized as a sport activity promotion platform, as well as performing the required tasks?

Solution:

In order to create awareness among sport lovers, especially the youth, Design Quest suggested using a common but popular e-communication medium – e-card. Its capability of being a game and high interactivity between sender and recipient perfectly matches with the nature of sport itself and demonstrate

The card features its ‘post to Facebook wall’ function, which allows users to share with their friends ‘pictures’ taken with top tennis players, under the beautiful sceneries made by collage of Hong Kong landmarks. Users can also make use of the many seasonal graphic options to create a unique X’mas and New Year greeting card
